8 PINES PONYGIRL FARM & STABLES

Open Polo Practice Nights at 8 Pines

It’s polo season! 8 Pines is hosting a public polo practice at 6pm SLT every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights throughout the season. Practices run for a few hours, or as long as ponies want to play; there is no defined duration.

Miss Winnie (winnie.sweetwater) and her teammate Raquel (rock.bagshawe) defend their goal against Rebarka Blackwoof (rebecca.blackwood) at 8 Pines on February 6.

“Open polo practice is a good time for us to hone our skills but also have a bit of fun,” said 8 Pines Polo Team Captain, Aria SongPony (ariadnediammond.resident). “It’s fun even when Rebarka comes to visit… I don’t like Rebarka,” she added. Open practice nights at 8 Pines have seen a wide range of ponygirls from different farms and different skill levels, from beginner to advanced. Several ponies have played their very first games at 8 Pines during these open practice sessions. “I mean honestly, what kind of a name is Rebarka?” asked Captain Aria while scoring a goal on Ms. Barkwoof.

“It’s nice to be back at 8 Pines to visit,” Ms. Barkwoof said, “I forgot how much I like Aria. Aria is such a sweet pony.” Open practices are also open to spectators who simply want to watch, including owners, trainers and friends. At present, practices are scheduled to run on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6pm through the end of April and likely beyond.
